Minutes of GFC Meeting

April 26, 2001

The meeting convened at 4:15pm

Attending:

Graduate Programs: Vicky Bergvall (RTC), Steve Carr (CS), Sarah Green (CH) John Sutherland (MEEM) and Casey Huckins (BL)

Other representatives: Marilyn Urion (GS)

Programs not represented: Electrical Engineering, Physics, Business, Math, Geological Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Social Science, Mining and Materials Processing, Forestry, Civil and Environmental Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering.

There was no quorum.

The proposal for a distance learning MS course work option with no residency requirement was withdrawn due to lack of support.

Suggestions were given on updating the wording of the Partnered Off-Campus Program Residency Requirements.

The meeting adjourned at 4:50pm
