Contact ddc@mtu.edu if you need a copy or the link placed here again.) —includes a worksheet labeled "Edited" listing the graduate programs competing with Michigan Tech's according to the collective judgments—informed and otherwise—of the prospective graduate applicants who have registered at Petersons.com's Graduate Channel. To keep the list manageable, the top 20 competitors for each of our programs were selected. If multiple competing programs tied for the 20th slot, all were included. (Note: The worksheet labeled "Orig" contains lengthier listings.) Hopefully the geographic diversity (or lack thereof), the homogeneity or heterogeneity of the academic emphases of the units competing with each of Michigan Tech's programs, and a comparison of user activity across programs will provide some useful insights.
